A 73-year-old Barbadian man is the second person to die as a result of COVID-19 today, Sunday 10 October.
He is the sixth recent death to be recorded and brings to 96, the number of persons who have died from the virus since March 2020.
He passed away this morning while in tertiary isolation at the Harrison Point Isolation Facility and was fully vaccinated.
Minister of Health and Wellness, Lieutenant Colonel Jeffrey Bostic, has extended sincere condolences to the loved ones of the deceased.
