Barbados is facing competition from a number of other regional states to be named the Caribbean’s Best Cruise Destination in the 2021 World Cruise Awards.
The Cayman Islands, Jamaica, the Bahamas and the Turks and Caicos islands were also named.
Winners will be announced at the first annual World Cruise Awards Gala ceremony on October 24th in Dubai.
The Bridgetown Port is coming up against others in Antigua, Turks and Caicos and Cuba for the Best Cruise Terminal award.
Three local travel agencies, Going Places, Indar Weir Travel Centre and the Travel House are among those up for the Caribbean’s Best Cruise Travel Agency award.
