Another Barbadian woman has succumbed to COVID-19, bringing the recorded deaths to 66.
The 66 year old, who was in primary isolation at the Harrison’s Point Isolation Facility for three days, died this morning. She had comorbidities and was unvaccinated.
Earlier today, the island’s 65th death was reported – an 84 year old Barbadian female, who was in tertiary isolation for five days at the Blackman and Gollop School. She passed away in the very early hours of this morning. She also had comorbidities and was unvaccinated.
Minister of Health and Wellness, Lieutenant Colonel Jeffrey Bostic, has extended condolences to the family and friends of the deceased.
