More families have been turning to a local charity for help over the past year.
Public Relations Officer of the Eden Lodge Youth Charitable Trust, Billie-June Langdon, made the revelation yesterday, as she accepted a financial donation.
A cheque for five thousand dollars was presented by the Student Revolving Loan Fund.
Ms. Langdon says it will help with the Charity’s Needy Families programme.
Loans Manager of the Student Revolving Loan Fund, Suzanne Griffith, says the donation is an investment in the the future.
