Barbados may have to consider offering citizens incentives to take the COVID-19 vaccine.
This is the view of Co-coordinator of the National Vaccination Programme, Dr. Elizabeth Ferdinand.
She says the matter is one they have looked at.
Dr. Ferdinand was speaking at a health webinar hosted by the Lions Club of Barbados East.
She’s revealed vaccination uptake is high in the parishes of St. Michael and Christ Church.
The situation is however different for rural parishes.
