Do all that you can to prepare for Tropical Storm Elsa.
That is the plea from Minister of Home Affairs, Information and Public Affairs, Wilfred Abrahams, as Barbados braces for the potential impact of Tropical Storm Elsa.
Stressing that people should prepare for the potential tumbling and rolling of unsecured objects and possible injury and danger to life from flying debris, he urged Barbadians to take the time to prepare today:
“Please take the time today to clean up around your property, secure loose objects that may become missiles, clean your drains and your gutters to manage the runoff of water”.
He also encouraged “Barbadians to monitor the official news channels and the media channels of Government, and our official media partners to keep updated and keep informed,” especially since updates will be issued throughout the day.
