Government’s record defended

August 11th, 2021

Acting Prime Minister Santia Bradshaw has defended the record of the Mia Mottley administration amid criticism from the Leader of the Opposition.

While acknowledging systems may not work as quickly as they would want, Ms. Bradshaw says Government has passed more legislation in one year than the past administration did in a decade.

She suggests Opposition Leader Bishop Joseph Atherley could make use of a Private Member’s Bill, if he wants to bring something before the House, which he believes could benefit citizens.
