Hotelier Paul Doyle believes the hotel industry needs to use all the tools available to fight the COVID-19 pandemic and keep their doors open.
The Crane Resort owner made these comments during the Barbados Hotel and Tourism Association’s virtual webinar entitled ‘Vaccination In Tourism: Is It A Choice?’
He says ensuring guests and staff are vaccinated will enhance Barbados’ product offering.
Executive Director of the Barbados Employers Confederation, Sheena Mayers-Granville says the BEC conducted a survey on vaccination and testing policies with employers, including those in the tourism industry.
She says the data shows employers have implemented vaccine mandates for the safety of their staff.
