Police investigations are continuing into Friday night’s fatal shooting at Rosemont, St. Michael.
Dead is 29 year old Shem Cummins of Block 4D, Neptune Road, Deacons Farm, St. Michael.
A statement from the Police Public Relations Department said around 10:20 p.m. they received reports of several gunshots being heard in the area and that a man was dead.
Several police units responded to the scene, which is opposite the area known as the Red Sea.
Cummins is the son of well known entertainer Dale ‘Mr. Dale’ Rudder.
When contacted by CBC he confirmed that it was indeed his son but he was unable to comment at that time.
Cummins, who is the father of two daughters, was also an entertainer himself under the name RSG Galang. His music video ‘Rules and Laws’ is featured on Youtube.
