Room for youth involvement as Barbados transforms its blue economy

Young people need not worry about being left out as Barbados works on transforming its blue economy.

They are being told there’s room for their involvement.

Minister of Maritime Affairs and the Blue Economy, Kirk Humphrey welcomed the UNCTAD Youth Forum telling those participating while there’s work for the Government to do, both sides must be open minded.

Disaster Risk Management Consultant, Danielle Howell says the gap must be bridged regarding education and the blue economy.
