Police investigations are ongoing into a shooting incident, which was reported to have occurred around 7:54 p.m. on Tuesday, August 31st, 2021 at the Arsenal Playing Field, Jackson, St. Michael.
Police PRO Acting Inspector Rodney Inniss says as the circumstances surrounding the incident are being investigated the facts are not yet clear.
However he confirmed two men were injured with suspected gun shot wounds.
One man received injuries to his face and both shoulders while the other received a wound to his right knee. They were transported separately by private vehicles to the QEH.
