Police appeal to the public as they continue investigations into a fatal shooting

Police are making an appeal to the public as they continue investigations into the fatal shooting of 29-year-old Mario Dennis Hinds.

Around 7:10 am on Thursday 11 November 2021, the body of Hinds aka “Cotton,” of Belair Land Richmond, St. Michael, was discovered in a track at Weekes Land, Goodland, St Michael, with multiple injuries to the head and body.

Public relations officer with the Force, Acting Inspector Rodney Inniss, urged members of the public to provide any information that may assist with their investigations:

“Police at Black Rock Police Station are conducting inquiries into this unnatural death and we are continually requesting the assistance of the general public to provide any information which may assist us in solving this matter.
