The Royal Barbados Police Force is investigating the circumstances of a shooting at First Avenue Waterhall Land, St Michael, which left a 19-year-old man with injuries to his groin.
Police say the incident occurred Saturday night around 7:50.
They identified the man as Absalom Francis Hunte, of Lower Collymore Rock, St Michael, who was transported to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital by private car.
No information was given on his current medical status.
