A Virgin Atlantic Flight from Manchester to Barbados had to land in London earlier today, after suffering a mid-air emergency.
The plane was en route to Bridgetown when it was diverted to the UK capital, because of problems developed with the cabin pressure.
This is after transmitting a code indicating a general emergency had emerged.
CBC news contacted chief executive officer at the Grantley Adams International Airport Hadley Barnes. He noted that they were aware of the Virgin flight returning, however the nature of the emergency remained unclear.
