As people across the globe celebrate World Sight Day, a local ophthalmologist and glaucoma specialist is warning about the impact of non-communicable diseases on the eye.
Dr Dawn Grosvenor drew attention to the situation on CBC TV8’s Morning Barbados, noting Barbadians are facing challenges in managing NCDS at this time.
Dr Grosvenor says more younger people are presenting themselves with symptoms of glaucoma.
