Tourism Minister Ian Gooding- Edghill has hit back at critics who have claimed the island’s tourism sector is underperforming.
He says that it is far from the truth as data shows arrivals are up compared to past years along with forward bookings for both summer and winter.
Speaking on the floor of Parliament last night, he also disclosed that airlift capacity is on the rise with the major carriers out of the UK set to bring more business during this summer.
The Tourism Minister also gave some insight into the Canadian source market.
