The Barbados Meteorological Services (BMS) says it is continuing to monitor a tropical wave, currently located in the far eastern Atlantic near 22W.
This tropical wave of interest is expected to track westward to west-northwestward within the next seven (7) days. Model guidance is suggesting that the wave will pass well north of Barbados late next week. Any development of this system is expected to be slow at this time.
There are no watches or warnings in effect for Barbados at this time. However, the public is encouraged to monitor official sources over the coming days.
An update will be issued at 2:00 p.m. tomorrow, Saturday, June 17, 2023.
