West Indies openers Kraigg Brathwaite and Shamarh Brooks both made half-centuries in a total of 297 for five on day one of their tour match against a combined New South Wales side at Canberra Solar Park.
The duo added 133 with Captain Brathwaite scoring 75 and Brooks 56.
Jason Holder is not out on 50 and Jermaine Blackwood on 42.
Spinner Riley Ayre has three for 70.
