Rita Louise Best, age 86, also known as “Pinny”, of Rock Dundo, St. James - retired employee of the School Meals Department, Daughter of the late Zeila Waithe, Sister of Wesley Best, Mother of Elaine Taylor, Wendy Chandler, Catherine Clarke, John, Tyrone, Graydon and Antoinette Best, Adoptive-Mother of John Kellman, Grandmother of Alex Best, Aisha and Justin Taylor, Gaynelle Best–Howard, Charlene Darlington, Fiona Clarke and Jalica Thorington, Great-Grandmother of nine, Mother-in-law of Jubie Taylor and Floyd Clarke, Relative of the Best, Worrell and Griffith families.


The funeral of Rita Louise Best leaves St. John Funeral Home, Half Moon Fort, St. Lucy on Friday, December 22nd, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. for St. Thomas Parish Church, where relatives and friends are asked to meet at 1:00 p.m. for the Service of Thanksgiving. The cortege will then proceed to St. James Cemetery for the interment.


The Organist and members of St. Silas Church Choir are asked to attend.


Wreaths may be delivered to St. John Funeral Home not later than 10:45 a.m. on Friday, December 22nd, 2017.


The body will repose for viewing in the Chapel of St. John Funeral Home on from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. Thursday, December 21, 2017.
