The overseas-based Hallam Hope showed his skill, as Barbados senior football team travelled to Guyana and got two valuable away goals Thursday night.
Barbados settled for one point after drawing their first game in the Concacaf nations league qualifiers.
The first half was scoreless, but one minute after resuming after the half time interval, Guyana opened the scoring with a strike from Trayon Babb.
The Bajan Tridents would rebound from that, when striker Hallam Hope equalized in the 64th minute.
There was real expectation of Barbados waltzing out of Guyana with a maximum three points, when Hope got his brace, clinically putting in a cross from the left in the 73rd minute to make it 2-1.
However, the hosts would get the equalizer five minutes later in the 78th through Neil Danns.
No one else would score in the 12 remaining minutes, so the game ended 2-all.
