The Barbados drug treatment court continues to have tremendous success with another group of participants graduating from its second installment.
Twelve participants were rewarded for their completion of the programme Wednesday evening at the Supreme Court Complex.
During the feature address, Chief Justice Sir Marston Gibson underscored the horrors of addiction itself.
He says understanding addiction highlights the mountain the graduates had to climb.
A combination of drug users and alcohol abusers made up the participants of the programme.
Magistrate Graveney Bannister pointed out that the court started with 27 people and some failed to show, but he congratulated those that stayed the course.
