St. Lucia police say two people are assisting their investigations into the murders of two foreign nationals, including a 24-year-old Trinidad and Tobago national, on the last day of 2017.

Police said that the bodies of Riche S. Ramdass and 26-year-old Venezuelan, Vincente Jose Mendoza Pacheco, were found with gunshot wounds on the night of December 31 in the southern town of Vieux Fort.

They said that Pacheco was found in a rented vehicle along the St. Jude’s Highway, while Ramdass’s body was found several metres from the vehicle.
