Religious leaders have come out swinging against what they are calling an LGBTQI agenda.
During a frank press conference at the Mer-C Building on Fairchild Street, the message was that the church must destroy any attempt to make homosexual preferences a human right in Barbados.
Apostle Eliseus Joseph contends that an attempt is being made to impose an unnatural, dysfunctional sexual practice, on the majority of the population, which is tantamount to bullying.
The leaders stressed that they are opposed to, and are confronting, the LGBTI agenda, and not the community.
Bishop Dr. Marlon Husbands also says that the church's stance is not one of hate.
