Scores of people were injured Friday morning when two transport buses and a car were involved in an accident on My Lords Hill, St. Michael

Police reports indicate that the mass casualty situation occurred just before 8.

The injured people were treated at the scene by doctors, nurses and other medical personnel, under tents set up in the road by members of the Barbados Defence Force.

As a result the road was impassable for about three hours.

Medical Consultant with the Accident and Emergency Department at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Dr. David Byer said in total sixty people were treated for various injuries.
