Margarita on lockdown

In Venezuela, Margarita Island was on lockdown Tuesday after 65 inmates escaped from a prison.

The inmates broke out overnight Monday to Tuesday.

Two prison guards were wounded with knives during the escape.

About 22 hundred security personnel were deployed across the island to search for the prisoners.

Ahead of the breakout, the prisoners had stolen shotguns, a revolver, ammunition and a motorcycle.
