A tropical wave is affecting the island.
As a result, conditions are forecast to be generally cloudy and windy with some scattered moderate showers, occasional rain and a chance of isolated thunderstorms on Monday.
Wind speeds are between 25 to 45 kilometres per hour with higher gusts near showers.
Seas are moderate to rough in open water with swells from two to three metres.
A small craft warning is therefore in effect for above normal sea swells.
There are however no other watches or warnings for Barbados at this time.
