Smart parking coming to the city

People working and doing business in Bridgetown will soon find it easier to find parking.

That’s because government is planning to implement a smart parking system on streets adjoining Broad Street.

Minister of Innovation, Science and Smart Technology, Senator Kay McConney explains that the initiative falls under government’s plan to transform Bridgetown to a smart city.

It will involve the use of sensors and geotagging of parking spots.
