Barbados Prime Mia Amor Mottley will be among a Caricom team set to visit the hurricane ravaged Bahamas.
They are expected in the Caricom state Thursday.
Also among the visiting team to assess the damage will be CAricom Secretrary General, Ambassador Irwin LaRocque, Chairman and St Lucia’s Prime Minister, Allen Chastenet along with the President of the Caribbean Development Bank.
The 15 member grouping has expressed its full solidarity with the Government and People of The Bahamas.
It says it stands ready to give whatever assistance is required to deal with the effects of the hurricane.
