UWI opens in Antigua

An historic occasion for the University of the West Indies as it officially opens its fourth landed campus in Antigua and Barbuda.

The country’s Minister of Education Michael Browne did not fall shy in describing just how much was endured to achieve the significant milestone.

Prime Minister Gaston Browne says his country is making a reality of what some thought was an impossible.

UWI’s undergraduate programmes currently on offer in Antigua span the areas of humanities, social sciences and technology.
