Help find missing persons

Police are seeking the assistance of the public in locating a missing girl.

She is 16 years old Chakita Amor Medford, of 3rd Avenue, Goddings Road, Station Hill, Saint Michael.

Police say Chakita left the residence of her mother Coreen Medford of the same address about 3 last Sunday evening to go to the beach and has not been seen since.

She is a student of The Ellerslie School. At the time her clothing was unknown.

Chakita is approximately 5’9″ tall; slim; clear complexion

Police say they are also trying to find 26 years old Jakeel Stephenson Kenneth Gittens of 165 Tulip Drive, St. James.

He was last seen about noon on September 10 by his mother Deborah Gittens of the said address when he left her residence to go and catch a route taxi along husbands road, St. James.

he has not been seen since.

Jakeel is about five feet three inches tall and dark complexion.

Police say he was last seen wearing a bright orange round neck shirt, a dark green three-quarter pants and black push-in slippers.

at the time he was carrying a haversack with hearts on the back.

He is known to frequent the areas of Greenfield, Whitepark road, Suttle Street, Reed Street, King Street and the Ivy all in St. michael.

Anyone with information relative to the whereabouts of Chakita Medford or Jakeel Gittens is asked to contact the police emergency at 211 or the nearest police station.
