Several workers employed by the JADA Group are now back on the job after downing tools and halting construction work.
This protest over what they say is unfair demands by the company which is instructing that they must work on Saturdays.
At the Mount, St. George site, workers armed with placards called for justice and for respect saying the situation was unfair.
CBC News tried to contact General Secretary of the Barbados Workers Union Toni Moore for comment on the matter however was told that she was in a meeting.
However her Executive Assistant Cindy Green told us the union was aware of the situation and had scheduled a meeting with management of the JADA Construction Group as early as Monday to try to resolve the worker’s complaints.
