Increased airlift from Germany

Tourism officials have described the first Lufthansa Airlines flight into Barbados as a significant one for the island when flight LH5432 touched down at the Grantley Adams International Airport recently after flying 10 hours from Frankfurt in Germany.

Tourism Minister Kerrie Symmonds and Chief Executive Officer of the Barbados Tourism Marketing Inc. were among the over 300 passengers on that inaugural flight.
