Barbados Pride will be hoping to uproot Leeward Island Hurricanes from
their top spot in group “A” when the two teams meet on Wednesday in the Colonial
Medial Insurance regional Super-50 match in St. Kitts.
The Leewards
with 12 points are
off to a perfect start this season with victories against CCC Marooners, Canada
and the Jamaica Scorpions.
Meanwhile, the Pride, on eight points, have a 2-1 record and sit in second position
after beating the Scorpions, losing to the Marooners then defeating Canada on
Monday.
The West Indies emerging players currently
top group “B” with eight points and are level with the Guyana Jaguars
who also have a 2-1 record.
