Modern payment methods on the cards

New and modern methods of maintenance payment will be introduced in the family courts.

This announcement from Attorney General and Minister of Legal Affairs, Dale Marshall while debating the Family Law Bill in the House of Assembly on Tuesday.

He described the current payment process as awkward and highlighted that digitized payments would boost productivity and efficiency in the courts.

The Attorney General says the Ministry of Finance is in talks with commercial banks to explore the prospect of modernizing the payment process.
