Smith, McIvor Tyrone

Age 69, better known as “Tyrone” or “Josh”, of Woodbourne Park, St. Philip, formerly of Bloomsbury, St. Thomas, retired Customs Officer of Customs and Excise Department and faithful member of Holy Innocents Anglican Church.

Son of the late Millicent Smith and Vibert Scantlebury.

Father of Cecille Best née Bryan of Dwellings and Sheena Bruce.

Grandfather of Kiara Bruce and Keondre Miller.

Brother of Gloria, Lucien and Gordon Smith – all of Canada, Sylvie Harper, Anthony and Anderson Smith – all of the U.S.A. and Maureen Smith.

Uncle of Lauriston “CR” Small, Nikita Smith, Julian and Ivor Smith – both of C. O. Williams Construction Limited, Glenn Harper, Susan Reid, Regina Hall and many others.

Father-in-law of Gregory Best and Andre Miller,

Friend of Lionel Medford, Denise Adams, Elvet Hackett, Clayton Johnson, Lucille Best, Olric Harewood and Patricia Barker.

A Requiem Mass to celebrate the life and work of McIvor Tyrone Smith will take place on Friday December 13th, 2019 at 3:00 p.m., at the Holy Innocents Anglican Church, Ayshford, St. Thomas, where relatives and friends are asked to meet, with the interment immediately following in the Churchyard.  

The Organist and members of the Church Choir are asked to attend.

The body will repose for viewing on Friday from 2:00 p.m. until the start of the service during which time floral tributes will be gratefully accepted. 

Tributes will commence at 2:30 p.m.

Final Arrangements Are In The Care And Trust Of Jo-Anne Jones Funeral Services And Pre-Arrangement Centre Ltd., “Clovelly”, Welches, Christ Church.
