Changes coming to Police force

Faced with a chronic shortage of officers and as it continues to fight the increase in violent crime on the island, Attorney General Dale Marshall says some changes are coming to the Royal Barbados Police Force.

He says Police Commissioner, Tyrone Griffith is preparing a proposal that will see police no longer responding to minor accidents.

It’s all in an effort to better deploy staff to make up for the current shortage of about 250 officers.
