The Lawrence T. Gay Memorial Primary School will remain closed for the rest of the week.
This according to acting Chief Education Officer Joy Adamson who notes that this will allow authorities time to put measures in place to identify the source of the irritants affecting staff and students of the school.
Ms. Adamson also notes that during this time several air quality tests will be conducted around the compound of the school.
She says in the interim the ministry will be seeking diligently to find suitable accommodations for the affected students and teachers.
Ms. Adamson says a meeting has been scheduled for Thursday at the Grace Hill Moravian Church to hear any concerns of those affected as there are many factors to be considered.
