Police probing house fire

Police and fire officials are probing a blaze which destroyed two wooden structures at Kings Street in Bridgetown.

There are also reports that an individual perished in the blaze.

According to fire officials two occupied wooden houses were affected about eight minutes after one Thursday afternoon.

Officials told CBC NEWS that one property was destroyed and the other extensively damaged.

Three tenders and ten officers under the command of Leading Officer Darcy Smith responded to the blaze.
