Carpha says reopening won’t be easy

Given the intimacy of the tourism product in Barbados and the region, the Caribbean Public Health Agency, CARPHA, suggests it won’t be an easy task as countries look to reopen their tourism sectors.

In the lead up to such developments, Caricom institutions have been given a mandate for a common public health policy and protocol.

Executive Director, Dr Joy St John sees coordination as essential at this time as every country has its own challenges in managing the Covid-19 pandemic.
