Government is hoping to produce about twenty-one thousand dollars worth of electricity on a monthly basis from solar panels.
So says Minister of Maritime Affairs and the Blue Economy Kirk Humphrey who notes that they are set to be installed on the roofs of the fish markets.
Minister Humphrey says this electricity won’t only power the markets, but will feed into the national grid.
The minister wants that in taking the ministry forward, they are able to publish the amount of fish caught and the value on a monthly basis.
Mr. Humphrey says he cannot yet say when single-use plastic bags being presently allowed in supermarkets will be officially banned.
