Port authorities are allaying concerns as the Harmony of the Seas with thousands of crew onboard docks in Barbados.
The vessel, the world’s second-largest, is the largest to ever dock in the Bridgetown Port.
It arrived Wednesday to repatriate its crew.
CBC NEWS understands that apart from the Caribbean, crew members onboard originate from countries such as the UK, and the Philippines.
Chair of the Barbados Port Incorporated, Senator Lisa Cummins reiterates the crew are not staying as landed passengers but are in transit.
Senator Cummins says the two Barbadians onboard the Harmony of the Seas have also been repatriated.
She adds to date, the repatriation process has been managed well.
