As Barbados takes its court system into the 21st century, electronic filing is being introduced.
E-filing, is the use of technology to file documents in court electronically, without having to physically go to the registry.
Attorney General Dale Marshall says it is part of efforts to make the system more efficient.
To this end, amendments have been made to the Stamp Duty Amendment Bill.
Mr Marshall touted government’s record with respect to the administration of justice and making it modern.
