Pollster does not agree with second round of voting

A regional political analyst is strongly opposed to any notion of having a second round of voting by Guyanese to elect an official government in Guyana.

Political Pollster Peter Wickham told CBC NEWS says such a move would not only be costly for the country but the desire for transparency would entail there being a clean slate of officials overseeing the operation which could take several months.

Mr. Wickham says based on what has transpired, regardless of the outcome of the court’s decision, this will be categorized as a loss for CARICOM.
