Age 83, of 58 Atlantic Avenue, Gemswick, St. Philip, Retired Postal Worker of the U.K. and faithful member of St. Martin’s Anglican Church Army and the Mothers’ Union.

Daughter of the late James and Albertina Thompson.

Mother of Mervin, Anderson and Stephen Skeete all of the U.K. and Noline Skeete-Alleyne.

Grandmother of nine.

Great-Grandmother of six.  

Sister of Kathleen Carter and Eversley Thompson of the U.S.A.

Aunt of Enita Smart of the U.K. David Henry and many others.

Cousin of Richard Henry and many others.

Mother-in-law of Atlee Alleyne and Carol Skeete.

Relative of the Skeete, Thompson, Henry, Foster and Carter families.

Friend of Nadean Worrell, Pauline Odle, Wilhelmina Payne, Mary Stafford, Noel and Marjory Moore.

The funeral of Doris Eileen Skeete leaves Earl’s Funeral Home, Half Moon Fort, St. Lucy, on Friday, September 25th at 8:00 a.m. for St. Martins Anglican Church, St. Martins, St. Philip where relatives and friends are asked to meet at 10:00 a.m. for the Service of Thanksgiving. The cortege will then proceed to Summit Gardens, Coral Ridge Memorial Gardens, The Ridge, Christ Church for the interment.  

The organist is asked to attend.

Floral tributes may be sent to Earl’s Funeral Home no later than 4:30 p.m. onThursday.

The body will repose for viewing in the Chapel of Lyndhurst Funeral Home, Passage Road, St. Michael from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.

Kindly note in adherence to the COVID-19 protocols, 60 persons will be allowed to attend the service in the church in order to comply with the physical distancing restrictions of 3 feet.  This physical distancing of 3 feet will also apply to persons at the graveside with the exceptions for those individuals from the same household.
