Age 84, affectionately known as ‘Pinkie or Margieof St. David’s Village, Christ Church, member of Penuel Moravian Church.

Daughter of the late Albertina and Ewart Massiah of Venture St. John.

Wife of the late Colin Smith.

Beloved Mother of Judy Mewborn, Angela Nurse, Cheryl Corbin, Charmaine, Michael, Carolyn and Dawn Massiah and Phillip “Nat” Massiah.

Sister of Vyda Flemming and the late Joseph Waldron and Vincent Massiah.

Grandmother of Karen and Rommel Waithe, Sekia and Kyle Nurse, Rommel Allder, Cory and Casi Mewborn, Jameel Corbin and Nathan Layne.

Great-Grandmother of ten.

Aunt of Myrtle and Ricardo Massiah, Vadney, Frank and Fitzgerald O’Neale, Erla Blackett, Esther Hope and many others.

Great-Aunt of Jalisa Massiah and many others.

Relative of the Waldron, Massiah, Smith, Oxley and Toppin families.

Special Family Friend of Saudia and Nicholas Moses, John and Norma Phillips and many others. 

The funeral of Margaret Augusta Smith nee Massiah leaves Waithe’s Funeral Home, Greens, St. George on Saturday, 26th September 2020 at 8:30 a.m. for Mount Tabor Moravian Church, Sherbourne, St. John, where relatives and friends are asked to meet at 10:00 a.m. for a Service of Thanksgiving, followed by the interment in the churchyard.

Floral tributes may be sent to Waithe’s Funeral Home not later than 8:00 a.m. on Saturday.
