The Association of Public Primary School Principals is reporting some challenges since school reopened last week.
President, Dr. Hyacinth Harris, says based on feedback she’s received, many resources requested from the Ministry of Education have not been forthcoming.
Among them, devices for online learning for students, although Dr. Harris acknowledges the Ministry is working to address this.
She says the availability of personal protective equipment is also a problem.
Dr. Harris has however praised the efforts of principals to get students back to school.
She says some were at school on weekends and even went as far as spending their personal finances to make sure the facilities were up to mark.
