The roll out of AstraZeneca booster shots under the National Vaccination Programme for COVID-19, will begin today, Thursday, October 21.
The Immunisation Unit advises that at this stage, these will be offered to fully vaccinated persons aged 70 and over, as well as those who are immunocompromised, who had received their second dose before the end of April.
These individuals may visit the Masonic Centre, at Salters, St. George, or any other vaccination site to receive their COVID-19 boosters.
