Testing site at Wildey Gymnasium closing early

The Ministry of Health and Wellness has advised that the COVID-19 testing site located at the Wildey Gymnasium, Wildey, St. Michael, will close at 3:30 p.m. today, Thursday 30 December.

This early closure is to facilitate maintenance to the tents at the site by the Barbados Defence Force.

The Wildey Gymnasium will return to the special operating times from Friday 31 December:

On New Year’s Eve, Friday, December 31, all of the testing sites will be open but will run from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. with the exception of the Branford Taitt Polyclinic, which will open from 8:00 a.m. until noon.

The Wildey Gymnasium will be the only site open (9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.) on Saturday, January 1, New Year’s Day. The testing site at the Queen’s Park Steel Shed will operate on Sunday, January 2, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
