This time around, they have donated boxes of produce and a $1,000 to the Salvation Army of Barbados.
In making the donation at the Salvation Army’s headquarters, District Grand Prefect Richard Mayers, said the presentation represents a commitment to their ideals of integrity, friendship, respect and charity, which they continually aim to do by providing assistance to charitable organisations.
Divisional Commander of the Salvation Army-Barbados, Major Brenda Greenidge, welcomes the donation, noting that it will go towards the organization’s feeding programme, which serves over 275 individuals and other initiatives.
