The mask mandate relaxation issued in the latest amended COVID-19 Directive has attracted some mixed reactions from the general public.
Some are happy to be maskless in the open air and others are vowing to keep them on as long as they are in the public domain – inside or outside.
CBC caught up with some of the folks who attended Thursday’s Q In The Community to get their reaction to the mandate.
Most expressed the view that masks should be worn when interacting with people outside of regular groups. Others, particularly people with comorbidities, see it as a safety shield that should be on most of the time.
